Opera House Apartment 1
“Absolutely perfect! Lovely, spacious apartment, great value for money, ideal location and very helpful staff.”
My partner and I stayed in the apartment for 9 days. We couldn’t have asked for a better place: clean, modern, spacious and right in the centre of things (30 seconds walk to Covent Garden market; 1 min walk to tube; 5 min walk Leicester Square, etc). We also had 2 friends stay over, for which there was more than enough space. Lots going on in the area without being noisy at night. I searched many places to stay and this was by far the most central, one of the best value and one of the rare ones with separate living and sleeping arrangements. Sarah was also super helpful throughtout, as were the cleaners. Would recommend 100% to anyone visiting London!
“Could not ask for more”
I stayed here on a business trip to London,
Great Location
Great Flat
Great Service
Simply… Great!
Will be staying here again
“Just about Perfect”
If I could give 4 3/4 Stars I would. The only hold back is the sofa in lounge room is not particularly comfortable as a bed ( as reported by my son ). Other than that it is Great. At least 3 times as we exited the Apartment, people on the street asked: You live there!?, What a flat above a Pub? Super! Wish I lived there! Makes you feel very privileged to be staying in such a great location. Support staff (Sarah & Jo) were terrific. We had some very minor maintenance sues which were fixed in 24 hours. The cleaning staff were excellent, friendly and accommodating. I hope to stay here next year. It was just Super!!
“Excellent Central Location.”
Flat 1 Opera House is excellent. We are UK born but resident for decades in the USA. Cannot beat the location a few yards from Covent Garden. Supermarkets within 100 yards. Bedroom is at the back overlooking a church garden which is locked up at night. So NO noise at all. Good basic furniture and everything you need to cook simple meals. If you are from abroad try buying ready prepared meals at Marks and Spencers (by the Covent Garden Tube Station) and cook them up yourself. Save a ton of money. When leaving to go to Heathrow go to the Covent Garden tube station. Direct elevator to the platform. No steps to worry about. Only problem — flat does have two flights of stairs to get there!!! And would probably would be crowded if more than two people.
“Unbelievable location, beautiful apartment”
We got upgraded to better 2 story flat before coming from the States for no extra charge. Had a little trouble with the initial entry locks into the building. Other then that , it was a luxurious, perfectly was clean and laid out inside. The location was exactly where we wanted to be: near Leicester Square, Trafalgar and Covent Garden !! Nightlife was unbelievable and right there, restaurants, grocery stores, theatres were within easy walking distance.

Opera House Apartment 2
“Nice flat in busy Covent Garden”
This is a second floor (third in US) flat with kitchen/living room, 1 bed and 1 bath. There is no lift, so you have to carry your bags. There is a refrigerator, microwave, and washing machine but no dryer; limited maid service is provided. The bed is medium-firm with no box spring. The bathroom has a shower with good water pressure. Bring your own soaps and shampoos; token supplies are provided. There is a Tesco grocery on the next block. It is very clean and convenient to both Covent Garden and Leicester Square tube (the latter is less congested). Covent Garden bustles every evening, so bring earplugs. Be aware there is a pub on the ground floor, and noise can be heard until 3 or 4 am even on weekdays. The nearby church bell tolls hourly. There is a TV and Wi-Fi, although we found the connection was sometimes very slow.
“Better than I could have imagined!”
This place has location, service and comfort. You can’t get any closer to the heart of London and although the tube is right there its easier to walk to just about everything. From the booking right through to the deposit refund it was simple, great communication from Sarah and Jo. We didn’t want to leave but we plan to come back in 2 years and we won’t look any further for accommodation. Great value also, a must for any London traveller who doesn’t want to spend time on transport.
“In the middle of the action”
The apartment at 6 King Street Covent Garden is only a 150 steps or so from the Piazza in Covent Garden and central to everything – about 5 minutes walk to Leicester Square and about 8 minutes to Regent Street, 5 minutes to Trafalgar Square so is in the middle of all the action Flat 2 is on the second floor and there are 57 steps to reach it. We enjoyed our 8 day visit, the bed was comfortable and the apartment nice and clean with a maid service included in the price. The equipment was a bit lacking – much of it was missing ie there were only two mugs and no cups for an apartment for four and there was no dryer as listed only a drying rack but washing did dry quickly on it. I would say they need to keep an eye on equipment and make sure they have quantities as listed on the inventory. They supplied dishwashing tablets for the dishwasher when asked. There is no problem with noise as referred to in a previous review – sitting in the lounge in the evening you can hear a little noise from the street but when you shut the 2 doors between the kitchen and bedroom it’s like being in a quiet oasis of calm – admittedly sometimes in the night you might hear a clock chime but you are in the centre of London. If you are so sensitive a pair of silicone earplugs fixes this but we didn’t use ours. We were a little concerned sending 1200 pounds to Medworth Investments (we dealt with Sarah) but our security deposit was refunded promptly with no issues. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone wanting a comfortable place to stay in central London.
Opera House Apartment 3
“Location, Location, Location!”
If you are thinking of visiting London to do a little sight seeing or a lot of shopping like I did, the location of this apartment doesnt get any better. This is THE location. This is the first time in 4 years I have been back to London after living in the Canaries, and Covent Garden is definfitley the place to be, it’s Oxford Street, New Bond Street and Carnaby Street all rolled into one. For eating try ‘Bills’ (breakfast and dinner) in Slingsby Place and Laduree in the Covent Garden Piaza especially if you need a sugar rush from a delightful French Macaroon and coffee. The apartment was very clean on arrival and once you were in felt very secure. Perfect size for 2 people (maybe 3 at a push) The view out of the attic window was the London Eye and from the front window the Telecom tower…and on a still night you can hear the chimes of Big Ben…overall if you want to suck up the sights and sounds of London, this is for you.
“All you need in a compact package”
Perfect location to see London from – right in the heart of Covent Garden. Went there with my partner and 8 year old son – apartment is quite tiny, but more than met our needs as were only really there at night to sleep and eat. Room has comfy double bed and pull out sleeper couch in the lounge. Wouldn’t recommend for more than 3/4 people max as the space is quite limited. Great power shower! Kitchen had all amenties which was helpful so could eat most meals there if you wanted to – late night open Tesco’s on the corner for stocking up which was fantastic! Check-in was quick and easy and was nice having a pub right below you – great place to eat when you needed a quick, no fuss meal. Another plus was the free wi-fi access. Would not recommend for elderly or disabled as there are a lot of stairs (3 flights) to climb and no lift – but we were warned about this so no surprises there. Thanks very much also to Sarah for all her help throughout the booking process! All in all, a very good stay in a prime spot – if you want to be in the centre of everything then this is the spot for you – Covent Garden tube station is 2 minutes away and Leicester Square tube station about 5 minutes away, or you can take a bus or walk as everthing is really that close! I would definitely stay there again.
Trafalgar Square Apartment 1
“Terrific Value and Location”
My wife and I have rented easily more than a dozen apartments (and countless hotel rooms) in Europe and the United States. This apartment is among the best overall that we have used.
First of all the location is outstanding. if you are in London to visit the principle tourist attractions it is perfect. One can easily spend days walking to major sights. For longer journeys there are two tube stations within easy walking distance – even with luggage (we did it with two weeks’ luggage for 5, no problem). One of them is a direct line to Heathrow (we used it). Trafalgar Square, within the advertised 300 meters, is a transportation hub including stops for all hop-on/hop-off bus lines.
The location is also desirable as it allows the guest to return to the unit during the day to rest for a moment without having to miss any significant sightseeing time. Consider that before booking an out-of-the-way location that requires carrying a day’s worth of contingencies and takes you out of the game upon return.
The neighborhood is upscale, tasteful, lively, safe and crammed with too many pubs, restaurants and shops to mention. There are no hooligan magnets nearby. Vehicle traffic is restricted in some areas.
The security for the unit was reassuring with two strong, modern locked doors required to pass through including both an entry code and a solid key lock. The property is up a short flight of (locked) stairs which not only enhances security but decreases noise (which was virtually eliminated via modern insulated windows), provides privacy and a good view for people watching in the street below. There is a spare set of keys locked away by combination in the event your party separates or the first set goes missing. Knowing that there was a spare set of keys caused me to not lose the first set. Had there been only one set I would of course have subconsciously contrived to lose them.
The apartment is a recent (2012?) remodel – meaning everything about it is modern. We have endured some archaic conditions in other units, but not here. There are plenty of outlets, for instance (all English sockets, buy a couple of cheap converters for US electronic devices). The open floor plan is quite nice for togetherness and there is a second TV in the closed bedroom for naps and privacy. Internet was easy and strong.
We were a family of 5 with children aged 12, 10 and 6. They fit comfortably on the pull-out sofa and the rollaway cot.
There is a Tesco Supermarket within a couple of blocks of safe, well-lit walking which had generous hours offering comprehensive groceries and a large selection of fairly decent pre-prepared food. The apartment kitchen was adequate to prepare meals. The appliances are modern and worked properly. There is a washer/dryer and dishwasher. The bathroom had good pressure and plenty of hot water.
I would like to specifically mention and thank Sarah S. with HB S&V for her help in overcoming a last-minute difficulty of my own making. The management was accessible by phone and with offices a short tube ride away.
Please observe that as indicated in the property details the unit is accessible only by stairs.
We searched on-line for weeks and weeks before deciding on this apartment. The next time we go to London I’m not even opening the internet – except to book this apartment. Feel free to email me at mwashburn@bcvtlaw.com if you have any questions. I tend to be skeptical but this unit is what it says it is. I unreservedly recommend this unit.
“Great Flat-Great Location – Great Time- Great Service”
This was a terrific property as the location was right in the middle of tourist London. The flat was well maintained and very comfortable for two. Theaters, galleries, tourist attractions were all within walking distance. Likewise there were two supermarkets and a chemist within a five minute walk. Many good restaurants were nearby – of particular note was Cote-the brasserie next door (50-51 St Martins Lane) which is a must try. Also three tube stations within a five minute stroll. Of particular note was the service we received form the rental agent Sara who did her best to make our holiday the best it could be. In all a resounding 5 star sucess.

“Excellent Location, but Lacks Some Key Elements of Comfort”
The apartment location, near Leicester Square, is perfect for sightseeing. Buses & the Underground are very close & many sites are easily within walking distance. Lots of restaurants, shops & theaters are literally right outside the front door. The apartment is modern, clean & minimally furnished/decorated. The bedroom overlooks the street, but is perfectly quiet when the windows are shut. However, there are 2 very bright lights on the outside of the building which are intended to illuminate the building’s exterior, but they also light up the inside of the bedroom all night long. The mini blinds don’t help enough to minimize the lights. Also, inside the apartment hallway leading to the bedroom, there are extremely bright lights which go on & off via a sensor & these can’t be manually controlled. If you get up during the night, it’s quite startling to encounter these lights which shine directly into the bedroom. The apartment comes with a daily cleaning service, Monday through Friday from 10am-12pm. Prior to arrival, we requested to have the service less frequently so that we could sleep in if we wanted to & not worry about being in their way. Our request was denied. However, the cleaning crew was very friendly & did a great job. Our other request for additional pillows was granted. It’s nice to have the terrace available. It’s very quiet & located in the back of the building, nestled between other buildings. Basic amenities in the apartment are limited: Only 1 bath towel per person was provided, no tissues or paper towels, no detergent for the washer. Overall, the apartment’s best feature is its location. Just be sure to bring eye masks.
Trafalgar Square Apartment 2
“Location Location Location”
Our stay in London this year was the best and the biggest contributor to that was our apartment. You cannot beat this location – Leicester Square, Trafalgar Square, Convent Garden , Charring Cross Tube and Bus Station were within walking distance (even young kids 7 and 3).
Wonderful restaurants as you step out but still quite quiet and not crazy like the areas around Piccadilly Circus. Kitchen is small but great to get breakfast and a quick meal ready. Tesco is just around the corner. Price is great as well.
“Fantastic location in a terrific location”
This apartment was ideal for 3 people. Our 15 year old son slept on the double sofa bed. It is in a fantastic location, very close to Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Circus, Covent Garden. It was spotlessly clean and lack of working light bulbs in the bedside lamps were sorted out on the day we arrived. Very quiet too.
“Very, very happy”
I really liked this apartment – perfect location, but still quiet, very well appointed and equipped with all you need. This definitely exceeded my expectations. The reservation process and key collection was remarkably straightforward and the staff was very helpful
Trafalgar Square Apartment 3
“Excellent location, perfect service
” We were a group of 7 friends in our 20s-30s coming from different parts of Europe to reunite in London. Stayed there during mid May 2013.
Reservation process was clear and easy (first a reservation deposit, then the total amount + £500 security deposit, returned after your stay). All our questions were promptly answered. We were given codes to open the gate and the lock with the keys. This was specially convenient for us, as we were all arriving separately and could therefore meet straight at the apartment.
Apartment has everything you could need, including two complete bathrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Plenty of space for us, even with the additional bed we required. Internet worked fine on our Smartphones and laptop.
For our group it was cheaper than most decent Hotels in London, and location was just perfect! We would definitely recommend it to groups or families (who don’t mind climbing stairs).
“Clean, comfortable, spacious with excitement everywhere you turn.”
We spent two weeks and were thrilled to find such a well appointed flat awaiting us. The flat exceeded our expectations with loads of space to spread out, particularly for a family with kids. The location was absolutely brilliant. It was mere blocks to the Covenant Garden Market, two blocks to Trafalagar Square, and blocks again to Leicester Square. All of this on your door step and a Tesco for groceries as well as a richness of pubs and local restaurants, including Carluccios, Jamies Italian Kitchen, and the Thai Pot, all new faves of ours, so close by. I am excited about my return visit to this flat. We did the mundane of laundry with the machine in the flat and used the dishwasher to capacity! This flat was exactly what we needed for living and touring London!
“Fabulous central apartment”
Rented this apartment for our family with three children aged 7, 12 and 16. The managers were excellent to deal with and the apartment was as depicted.
The location was excellent, just off Trafalger Square and a couple of minutes walk from Leicester Sq tube. It was handy to everything, in the middle of the theatre district, lots of pubs and restaurants nearby and just round the corner from a small Tescos.
Although in the middle of everything the apartment itself was quiet, although the kids in the front bedroom did comment on a bit of noise at nighttime – nothing too major though. It is a walk up on the third floor, so be prepared to lug suitcases a fair way! The apartment was well set up, clean and attractive. The beds were comfortable and it was great to have a large dining table for family meals. The lounge area was pleasant with a comfortable couch and good tv.
All in all really enjoyed our stay in this apartment and would certainly look at staying here again.
“A superb high spec apartment in an unrivalled location.”
We stayed at the apartment for a family wedding weekend in preference to a hotel and it was the best choice ever! The apartment is stunning, in an amazing location (perfect for the wedding venue in Central London) and we were able to come and go as we pleased. There are LOTS of stairs and no lift, so this apartment is unsuitable for old/infirm/unfit. I definitely recommend this apartment for a brilliant stay in London.
“Great Location, Cleanliness to be improved”
Location: Very close to Leceister Square (3 min by foot) and Covent Garden (4 min) Apartment: 2 spacious bedrooms, where a separate bed can easily be put in. Sofa bed (not used, no idea about the comfort) is in the combined dining and living room, but there is a lot of space.
At the dining table there is space for at least six persons – my children took their English lessons there and it was very comfortable. Internet: The router is very unstable – first I had to call and then my husband showed me how to get it working again (every third day it broke down). Cleanliness: Unfortunately we can not say, the apartment is really clean. The stove was not even cleaned when we arrived and really dirty. Even after complaint it was not cleaned to satisfaction. For a familiy one can not cook pasta, since there is not pot big enough. Infrastructure in the kitchen is not as expected for the price (broken corkscrew, no sharp knives, no cleaning cloth…). The maid is coming daily, but besides takig the waste out, she didn’t do that much. The carpets in the bedroom were rather dirty.
Help from the office: Sarah did not answer to some of our mails, because I wanted to know if we could get into the apartment an hour early.
Soho Chambers Apartment D
“the apartment is perfect”
This is the second time we are staying in one of your apartments.
It is the perfect solution for a family of five who do not want to stay in separate rooms in a hotel. This time we stayed in apartment D in Soho Chambers. Pleasant bright and comfortable apartment in the heart of things.
Equipped with refrigerator, dishwasher, washing machine (I didn’t plan on using it but at the right time it was a rescue), dryer, microwave, oven, hob, iron, hair dryer, utensils and everything needed including smart TV and USB socket in every electrical outlet.
Everything is clean and new, seems to have been recently refurbished and well maintained. Every day a staff member comes in to empty bins and clean up what is needed. The staff is great and welcoming, the location of the apartment is perfect for those who like to feel the pace of the city and be at the centre of things.
Especially we want to thank you dear Sarah, for the cordial and pleasant attitude. For the consideration and attention to the little details and your quick response when we needed to solve a problem.
We really enjoyed staying at the apartment and I am sure we will come again next time we are in London.
Thank you for everything.
